So excited to announce The Traveling Pixie has been nominated for a
Bloggers Recognition Award!
I seriously almost fell off my chair when I saw the nomination. It’s a fabulous way to keep bloggers inspired, as the blogging world is certainly not an easy one.
A mother and daughter team, Angela and Ana Arten-Meyer both started their travel experience in their teen years and have turned their love for travel into careers.
What is a Blogger Recognition Award?

How I started my blog?
This blogs beginnings started as an outlet for my love of food and travel. Whilst still just a baby in the blogging world, I want to inspire and give courage to those whom have the lust to escape, not just their home but the lives they are leading.
The Traveling Pixie is about the magic that this world offers, aiming to help those blinded by the social bullshit, that can at times cloud our visions from our true desires.
Advice for new bloggers:
Blogging and generating a strong following takes time and commitment.
It’s not going to happen over night and that kind of expectation can be a bit of a heart breaker. Stick with it and stay resilient.
Put yourself out there:
Get on all the social media platforms, introduce yourself and your blog. You don’t have time to be playing coy. Facebook groups are an awesome way t o don’t just get yourself and your blog out there but it’s an valuable tool to connect with other bloggers.
This has helped me so much.
The blogging world can be a dark and scary place, sometimes its nice to have someone hold your hand or be there for you when you get stuck.
